Ian Knight serves as Regional Vice President for the Houston market at Goodwin & Company, where he leads community association operations with a disciplined focus on execution, accountability, and measurable results. With well over a decade of tenure in the community association management industry, Ian concentrates on creating and strengthening operational systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving financial performance, and supporting boards in making practical, well-informed decisions that protect and enhance their communities.
His experience spans master-planned communities, developing communities, and high-rise condominiums in major markets across Texas and Florida. As an Association manager, Ian partnered with his Board of Directors through complex redevelopment and capital improvement initiatives exceeding $30 million, including post–Hurricane Michael recovery efforts in the Florida Panhandle. His professional designations include Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®), Association Management Specialist (AMS®), and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®).
Ian holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. As a recognized industry leader, he actively contributes to advancing the practice of association management, promoting strong governance standards and professional excellence for managers, volunteer board members, and industry affiliates alike.
