Chris Harrison is an accomplished executive with over 15 years of experience in the community association management industry. He began his career as a community manager at Alliance Association Management, an Associa Company, in 2005. Over the next decade, Chris served in several leadership positions at Associa, including director of national sales, vice president of marketing and national sales, and senior vice president of operations.
In 2016, Chris co-founded Goodwin Harrison Management (GHM) with his longtime mentor and friend, Guy Goodwin, expanding the company’s footprint from Austin to Dallas-Fort Worth. Under his leadership, GHM quickly became the market leader in the DFW area. In 2018, Chris partnered with Joey Carona and Matt Gibson to acquire Goodwin & Company and further strengthen its position as a leading community management firm. Together, they have successfully grown the company into one of the fastest-growing and most successful organizations in the industry, setting a high standard for quality and innovation.
As CEO of Goodwin & Company and its holdings, Chris provides strategic leadership and direction. He drives the company’s growth initiatives and ensures that its services are consistently delivered with the highest level of quality and client satisfaction. Chris is committed to expanding the company’s reach and enhancing its service offerings while building lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
With his extensive experience and industry knowledge, Chris is a recognized leader in the community association management industry. He holds both the CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager) designations from the Community Association Institute (CAI), showcasing his expertise in community management. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and an MBA from LeTourneau University.
Chris is also actively involved in industry organizations, having served as a board member of the Austin chapter of the CAI for three years. In 2007, he was recognized as Volunteer of the Year by CAI’s Austin chapter, and continues to lend his time and expertise to promote the advancement of the community association management industry.
