A seasoned veteran and visionary in the association management industry, Joey serves as Executive Chairman of Goodwin & Company. Prior to Goodwin, Joey was the president and chief operating officer of Associa, where he supervised their more than 10,000 employees. He helped build and oversee the firm’s global management operations, sales and marketing efforts, mergers & acquisitions, ancillary business lines, information technology, maintenance divisions, and charitable efforts. As a recognized leader in the industry, he has served on industry’s national Board of Trustees and Association of Professional Community Managers board through its trade organization, the Community Associations Institute (CAI). With CAI, Joey holds the industry’s highest-level designation – that of a Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM). Joey earned his B.A. in International Studies from Baylor University and his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He’s the proud father of four school-aged children, two boys and two girls.
